Comfort, balance and German quality combined mean pure pleasure for horse and rider. Smooth full grain German Cowhide, Federbaum spring tree with a narrow twist and recessed stirrup bars. Wool flocked gusseted panels with wide channel conform to the horse and keep the back sound. The jumping blocks and removable rear block along with the deeper seat give the rider extra security.

This saddle features a medium deep soft padded seat and has a narrow twist with a low pommel for rider comfort. The semi cut-back design allows a close contact fit, even on horses with high and/or long withers. A generous sitting area provides proper support and encourages the rider's full use of seat and back. The flaps are slightly longer and straighter than on ordinary close contact saddles with soft padded knee inserts over long concealed knee rolls- allowing a leg position suitable for the foxhunt. Other features include, adjustable and removable rear blocks and recessed stirrup.

Saddle Trial Policy We ship via USPS; you are responsible for the cost of shipping. You may keep the saddle for 1 week. You must keep the saddle in new condition. You may ride lightly in the saddle. When you receive the saddle, we encourage you to girth it up, you must wrap stirrup leathers (‘Vet Wrap , tube socks, halter fuzzies) so as not to cause any scratching on the saddle, and ride in breeches, NO JEANS. Use a clean pad. Ride in the saddle two or three times for 15 minutes or so. This will allow the stuffing to settle somewhat. Remember with wool stuffed saddles it does take time for the wool to settle , it is best for the wool stuffed saddle to fit a bit tight when new. Please do not run the stirrups up, as this does mark the saddle. We do expect to see marks on the billets from your girth, but NO other marks on the saddle. If the saddle does not fit the horse or rider, you should call before the saddle is returned in case it is necessary to ask additional questions or to have you take pictures or make measurements. Please do not use Styrofoam peanuts for packing. Upon receipt of the saddle here at the store we will inspect the saddle. If it is still in new condition with only girth marks on the billets, we will gladly refund the entire purchase price of the saddle. If these conditions are not met there will be a 30% restock fee charged.
