The Mikmar Double Jointed Slanted Low Port Mouthpiece offers riders the same mouthpiece as the Mikmar Double Jointed Mouthpiece, only it is positioned at a slant which gives the benefits of a broken mouthpiece, while still using the traditional Mikmar Mouthpiece style. The slant positions our Pelham bits with swept back shanks, resulting in less leverage. This mouthpiece option is more forgiving and protects the horses mouth from over active hands. The Mikmar Pelham is designed to be used with two separate reins or a single rein with a converter.
